Thank you for your interest in our products! The decision should ultimately be down to your preference and requirements for a system. On its own, the Soundbar 700 will have use it's 5 speaker to project a virtual surround sound, with the majority of sound for the setup coming from the front of the system. It is possible to also get additional accessory speakers for this system, with the addition of bass modules and surround speaker to enhance the performance of the system. This system also has compatibility with Bluetooth, and can be paired to Wi-Fi through our Bose Music app to access online features such as voice assistants. On the other hand, the Acoustimass 10 V starts with 6 speakers, with 4 of these being surround speakers, 1 Acoustimass Bass Module, and a front speaker. This provides distinct audio from each direction based on the positioning of the speakers, but does not have any additional features for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Ultimately, we would recommend that you visit one of our stores and have a listen to each system for yourself to be sure that you are happy with the quality of audio before committing to your purchase. We hope this helps, and have a great day!
