Q: QuestionHi I recently bought a Bose Acoustimass 6 V5.1 Home theater speaker system and would like to know which receiver is best to use! i am looking at Denon AVR-S530BT will this be suitable for the 5.1 Bose home theater system or any suggestions.

Q: QuestionI bought Pioneer Elite VSX-LX302 receiver and thinking of pairing it with Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V speakers. Need an expert opinion on whether this pairing is good/bad/great. The room where this setup is going to be in, is of size 17x20. Thanks.

Q: QuestionWe have a Samsung UN55B6000VFXZA TV with a digital audio output (optical). Can I connect the TV directly to the Bose Acoustimass 10 (sku 3533235) with only a fiber optic connection, or do I need a Bose amplifier, which one? Which optical cable do I need?

• A:Answer Hello OldMan, thank you for posting your question! The Acoustimass 10 system cannot be used without a home theatre receiver. Any receiver that provides 10-200 W per channel, at 4-8 ohms, should work fine. Also to note, you would want to connect the optical cable to the receiver, not the AM10 system. We recommend taking a look at BestBuy's website and also contacting their support for suggestions. Thank you again!

• A:Answer Unfortunately the wireless bose system was discontinued I wanted the wireless model but it is no longer available.This system is powered threw the subwoofer every speaker is connected to it,hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI have a small room that I am using for my "Man Cave". Dimension is 10'0" X 11'0". TV is LG OLED 55". I don't want to go overkill in the room, but I would like to hear from more than the TV's speaker. What Bose system should I use?

• A:Answer I would recommend a soundbar for your configuration. It doesn't have to be Bose as there are several good models out there. A lot comes down to your budget but something in the $200-300 range may work perfectly for you.

Q: QuestionMy 5.2 system died so I updated it to 7.2 . My question is - does Bose make a wireless speaker ( cube preferably) that can be added to the Accoustimass home theatre? If so can you provide me with the model #. or the next best thing

• A:Answer Hi Jake. Currently, we do not have any wireless speakers that would be able to be used with an Acoustimass 10 system. We'd recommend taking a look at some of our passive stereo speakers if you're looking to use the full 7 channels on your home theater receiver. Some examples would be 301s, 201s, 161s, or even some of our virtually-invisible in-wall/ceiling speakers. We hope this helps!

You can either set up your system in a 5 speaker configuration or add two more speakers to take full advantage of the 7.1 capabilities. Q: Questionspeaker connectionsi have a prewired home and currently have the "6s" installed. Iam moving up to the "10s" and read a review that a special connection is needed? Current I have just stripped the wires and plugged and played with no issues. is this true, special connectioins?

Both use the same kind of connector, so you shouldn't need to change anything if they are the same series. Otherwise, you may need the adapter and we can help you with that. • A:Answer Yes, the Accoustimas 10 series 5 bass module is a hard wired powered sub. There is going to be a lot of wiring left over once the system is completely set up. Keep that in mind when deciding where to place your speakers.
