The 5 year plan is good for 5 years or until your tv dies then they will replace the TV and your warranty ends regardless of the date. My roku 58 was replaced after 1.5 years with a hisense android 55 and my warranty ended. They never have the parts to fix the tvs and you just end up with a new one.
