“Does warranty go into effect on purchase date or on delivery date?”

• Yes, your warranty and extended warranty (Geek Squad Protection Plan) if purchased goes into effect on the date of delivery. Although, any issues within the first year must be resolved through the manufacturer. This basically means your first year Geek Squad protection plan is for nothing. Even though you paid for year 1, you technically can't use the plan until the 2nd year.
