Yes you can connect it with an iPhone, you would just need to get the lighting to digital a/v adapter from Apple and a mini-HDMI cable.

Like mirror your iphone? You would need Apple's special cable for that. I think its called Lightning digital av adapter. Apple products always need special stuff.
