Does this work with a samsung glaxy s7? null

Not sure, but it does NOT work with a Samsung 6 Edge. Purchased this as a Xmas gift for nieces, one has iphone 7 and other has the Samsung 6 Edge. The girls purchased a mini hdmi to a big hdmi adapter to connect to the chrome cast to work with the Samsung phone. If you want to use the iphone you will need to buy a separate adapter. It probably took about a month to figure out what they really needed to get this to work from the phone and not sure if they have even used it yet.

Unfortunately the S7 does not work as Samsung has disable the video out feature from the phone. An alternative way would be using a Google Chromecast and connecting the phone through that as it will be able to show videos and images.
