Chromebook is fast because it uses a solid state hard drive. That being said, while I had one for a time, there was some delay in loading large Google docs or sheets. This however is due to the speed of your connection and not linked to the speed of the laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using the chromebook seems pretty smooth, doesn't lag at all. Mine has a celeron n2840 in it, not the n2830 listed here. Not sure if all the CB3-111-C8UB have the n2840, or if it is just hit and miss. Regardless the 2830 is just as fast, except for turbo mode. Enter the url chrome://system to display hardware specs

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is my first Chromebook but for browsing the web and doing Google Documents type activities it's as fast as any other high end laptop I've ever used. We stream Netflix and Vudu movies to it all the time and it has no trouble whatsoever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the acer chromebook is a lot faster than even our gaming computers with 12 and 16 gb of ram. That A/C wifi makes a world of difference for sure. I tried the HP streambook running windows but it was way too sluggish and slow once we put a virus scanner on it.
