A:AnswerI use this machine for MSFS with ultra settings and see no negatives to its operation on normal mode. The laptop is more than capable of managing heat with the included hardware, but to add additional cooling I use a cooling pad. It generally drops the temps by several degrees.
Note: You will need to adjust what components use the GPU on startup, otherwise you will have multiple apps using it and result in decreased performance and increasing wear. This can be done from the NVIDIA GeForce control manager software (not the GPU icon in task tray) for custom applications. Locate the app you want to restrict and select the option without GPU. Default will randomly use the GPU so avoid default.
