“I'm looking at the specs on acer's own website for the spin 1 and they are saying the screen is 1366x768, not 1920x1080, but here it says 1080p. Did you replace screen with a higher resolution one and won't performance take a hit because of that?”

You don't include the Acer link you saw, but here is the link for the SP111-31-C2W3 laptop and it does show 1920x1080 for the LCD, as does the Best Buy site: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.GL2AA.001
