Please try again later.Your mileage may vary depending on what types of sites you have open in the tabs, but I've got about 25 tabs open right now and it is humming along beautifully. The battery life on this is also pretty superb. For Chrome, unless you're tricking it out, using the Linux shell a lot, programming or doing something really heavy-duty (in which case I'd probably be advising you to get a Mac or a higher-end Windows machine anyway because those tend to play nicer with those sorts of applications,) you really don't need an X-86/64-type processor. This little Mediatek lifts plenty for basic use, so if you're using it to interact with a lot of websites, check e-mail, do some Word processing, maybe some basic photo/video editing (nothing too complex,) playing music, watching TV or movies, this will be more than adequate. So...long answer short, yes, you'll be able to open quite a few tabs without a problem. And it can handle more than that, too.
