The webcam on the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 has a resolution of 1,280 x 720. This is 720p HD. The webcam offers 'Super High Dynamic Range (SHDR) imaging'.

I tested video camera on my Acer Spin 713 by making video recordings with Google Duo and also with the native Chromebook Video Recorder. The video camera is not very good. I would rate it below average, rather mediocre. It records in normal lighting as if it were recording in dim lighting. Very disappointing video camera for a Chromebook that cost this much money.
