“I had to return a previous Spin 713 models because the fan was just too loud (seems to be a known issue). Would spin up really high and random times and I could hear it from the next room Has this been fixed in this new version? Thanks”

Yes! The 714 is whisper quiet when the fan does run. And that is not very often.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not noticed the fan being overly loud. It will run at times, but it does not sound like a vacuum cleaner. You will hear it, but it's not any louder than most other notebooks.
