Hz is Hertz. The number of hertz equals the number of cycles per second. The frequency of any phenomenon with regular periodic variations can be expressed in hertz, but the term is used most frequently in connection with alternating electric currents, electromagnetic waves (light, radar, etc.), and sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using this monitor with my PS5 and i am very happy with the purchase. I play a lot of call of duty and the game mode and 120 HZ - means it can run 120 frames per second on certain games like Call of Duty - is amazing. For games that don’t take advantage of 120 FPS, the HDR mode is a nice feature that just gives you some richer colors. personally, in playing online multiplayer on Call of Duty- I’m not enabling HDR. the only possible downfall for you is that the monitor is not 4k. i have a 4k TV in my game room that i hook the PS5 to for single player, or more relaxed multiplayer gaming.
