“I'm going to be using this laptop for collage. Does this 1TB Hard drive model still have the 2.5 inch drive bay open to put more storage in or is it filled up by the 1TB Hard Drive? and if yes is there anyway to still put an SSD in it?”

There is enough room for one 2.5" drive and I did put a 1TB 2.5" SSD drive in mine.
