This laptop has one M.2 SSD slot that has the 256GB SSD, and one 2.5" empty slot to add a SATA hdd or SSHD. Brands tested but not limited to Sandisk or Hynix for the M.2 SSD, and Toshiba, Western Digital or Seagate for the 2.5" hdd.
