Great gaming laptop
|Posted .Owned for 4 months when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I've been playing Destiny 2 on this thing for several months now and it's been great for that! Running it at extremely high settings while still getting between 50-100 fps. This computer will do anything you can throw at it for the price point! The only things against it is that you need to update the BIOS right out the box and the keyboard has audible clicks after a key has been used a certain amount of time. It can also get really hot, so I recommend having Nitrosense on max when playing demanding games, and if you cant launch Nitrosense I have a solution to that on the Acer forums under my display name here

Excellent for the price
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:PriceI bought mine on sale for $619.99 and couldn't be happier. I added a 1TB Seagate Firecuda HSSD, a 1TB WD Black M2 drive, and 16GB 2933MHz Kingston HyperX RAM. The BIOS does NOT support Intel XTU and undervolting, but I can run Throttlestop in the background with a profile for the i5-8300 and my temps are 20C cooler when gaming on HIGH settings. The keyboard is red ONLY, but it feels great. The trackpad is good, but I use a wired mouse. I have one spot of screen blooming just below the camera. Its only noticeable on a solid black screen and expected from an IPS panel. This PC is also VR capable. I use my PSVR, Move controllers, and 2 PS3 cameras to play Beat Saber and other games.

Best Budget laptop
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:PriceThis laptop is known as a budget laptop, and it totally is. I can play several games, like CSGO, Dishonored, fluently. And the ssd give me the pleasure of a fast windows 10 startup. I am really satisfied with y purchase. Is lightweight, not that expensive for a gaming laptop and easy to use. Plus, if you work or play at night, the backlit keyboard will be your best friend.

Great buy for gamers saving for a PC /casual gamer
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5[I'm not tech experienced or knowledgeable, so this review is mostly for people like me who just want an upgrade from their average laptop they use for games] WHY I BOUGHT IT: I recently bought this laptop since it was a very low price for a powerful machine. It can handle a wide range of graphically intense games from Halo, League of Legends, Minecraft, most games on Steam, battle royales, you name it. My old Dell computer wasn't built for intense gaming as it only had 20-50 frames per sec whenever I played games like LOL and could barely run FPS shooters as it would severely lag or no game would be playable at all. Sounds like yours? YOU'LL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE: If you're currently playing on a laptop not specified for gaming, then you'll definitely feel how much more smoother and clearer it feels to play on this bad boy. Average fps when on MMORPGS is about 120-200, FPS games are usually 100-150. You'll be able to set your graphic settings pretty high. FEATURES: - YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR FAN SPEED to cool down your laptop! - Red back-lit keyboard (can't change colors) - 3 USB ports, 1 AUDIO jack - Numeric keypad - Fans on left, right, and back sides COMMUNICATION (talk with your friends through, Skype, Discord, teamspeak, etc...): *PLEASE BUY USB HEADSETS/ADAPTERS/ WIRELESS HEADPHONES* - The audio jack is ONLY for HEADPHONES/EARPHONES, not HEADSETS. If you try to use your mic on your headset, it will ONLY use its built in mic instead and WILL NOT detect your own mic. I recommend: https://www.amazon.com/CM7000-Surround-Headphones-Canceling-Nintendo/dp/B07W22F9G3 It's cheap a price, easy to use, has 7.1 surround sound, AND it matches your the laptop's red and black color theme! GB ISSUES: Only issue is 8GB of memory, BUT you're able to upgrade it to 16 or more GB which is unique compared to other pricier gaming laptops. You'll just have to search up how to. 8GB of memory can last you about 3 months depending on what kind of games you get. I currently have 21 games downloaded and still got extra room.

Acer's best gaming laptop ever!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:PriceBest affordable and high-powered gaming laptop you can buy. The 15.6-inch screen allows for awesome viewing and gameplay. the Nitrosense button allows for cooling and manual control of the CPU fan for efficient gameplay. The red led backlit keyboard adds for nighttime gaming and a pure aesthetic gamer look. The GTX 1650 graphics card plays fast-motion games with ease and the movement is as realistic as you can get. Only with there were more color options available. Check out my review on Youtube - link below https://youtu.be/QnRh_ivtKgM

Q: QuestionCan the acer laptop run the latest updates on web browsers such as chrome and firefox? Is it good for a work computer and not just gaming?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Common sense would tell you that a "gaming" computer would make a good "work" computer. A separate video card means more memory to run the applications you need to do your job. They have increased speed (usually) and display things better. Not to mention that they usually have better networking capabilities.
