Perfect entry-level gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has been perfect for someone like me who is new to PC gaming and didn't want to completely break the bank. So far, ive tried many games and all of which run great, even on their highest settings. *The following stats are with an 8GB RAM upgrade, which is very easy to do on this laptop GTAV 70-100+ fps Warzone 60-70 fps Overwatch 70-100+ fps Flight Simulator (VERY demanding game) 30-45 fps This laptop is also great for school use and regular internet browsing, as well as streaming. For the price, this laptop is an amazing all-rounder.

Great gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing Destiny 2 on this thing for several months now and it's been great for that! Running it at extremely high settings while still getting between 50-100 fps. This computer will do anything you can throw at it for the price point! The only things against it is that you need to update the BIOS right out the box and the keyboard has audible clicks after a key has been used a certain amount of time. It can also get really hot, so I recommend having Nitrosense on max when playing demanding games, and if you cant launch Nitrosense I have a solution to that on the Acer forums under my display name here

Excellent for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought mine on sale for $619.99 and couldn't be happier. I added a 1TB Seagate Firecuda HSSD, a 1TB WD Black M2 drive, and 16GB 2933MHz Kingston HyperX RAM. The BIOS does NOT support Intel XTU and undervolting, but I can run Throttlestop in the background with a profile for the i5-8300 and my temps are 20C cooler when gaming on HIGH settings. The keyboard is red ONLY, but it feels great. The trackpad is good, but I use a wired mouse. I have one spot of screen blooming just below the camera. Its only noticeable on a solid black screen and expected from an IPS panel. This PC is also VR capable. I use my PSVR, Move controllers, and 2 PS3 cameras to play Beat Saber and other games.

Pros and Cons (2 YEAR REVIEW)
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros and Cons (2 YEAR REVIEW): *45-60 FPS on Very High 1080p in most games, Can play all games in 45 fps on low at the very least (RD2, God of War, Other AAA games as of 2021). Games older than 2017 will work fantastic. Game pass cloud streaming is flawless. *Can hookup to a 4k monitor with 144hz with zero lag for office use *Very quick and can handle multitasking very well *Moderately light, has all usb hookups you need. *Handles CAD/SolidWorks, Photoshop, rendering of small assemblies of ~40 parts well. Fantastic for student use. *Display is good, but not super vibrant or colorful. -Bad battery without editing power settings (2.5 hours). Lookup power plan editing, able to stretch out to 6 hours if using this method. -Camera is grainy but usable. Microphone sounds like speaker mode on your phone to other listeners so usable but not great. -Disassembly for upgrading HDD and RAM is a major hassle, many small screws, weird snap mounts. -Low HDD means you will be running out of space without an upgrade pretty quick. -Keyboard turns off glow every 20 seconds after turning on with no option to keep on unless you're constantly typing. Worth the money? Absolutely, unless you want a desktop ultra high resolution setup on the go. This PC has performance way over Zen books at 2-3 times the price. Highly recommend.

Awesome machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great gaming PC for the price. Like the red keyboard. The display isn't as sharp as others even though it's 1080p. Sound is a little soft but headset or speakers work great! Love the way the Nitrosense works for cooling the comp because otherwise it runs a bit hot. Enough ports to get main stuff hooked up. Overall great PC and fast to handle even Battlefield franchise.

Acer's best gaming laptop ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best affordable and high-powered gaming laptop you can buy. The 15.6-inch screen allows for awesome viewing and gameplay. the Nitrosense button allows for cooling and manual control of the CPU fan for efficient gameplay. The red led backlit keyboard adds for nighttime gaming and a pure aesthetic gamer look. The GTX 1650 graphics card plays fast-motion games with ease and the movement is as realistic as you can get. Only with there were more color options available. Check out my review on Youtube - link below https://youtu.be/QnRh_ivtKgM

Q: QuestionCan the acer laptop run the latest updates on web browsers such as chrome and firefox? Is it good for a work computer and not just gaming?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Common sense would tell you that a "gaming" computer would make a good "work" computer. A separate video card means more memory to run the applications you need to do your job. They have increased speed (usually) and display things better. Not to mention that they usually have better networking capabilities.
