“I just got the acer nitro an517-51 does anyone know if the oculus rift will work for it”

• It did not pass the minimum specs with the Oculus test. I have the Oculus Rift, not the new S version. I was able to launch some of the games from the Oculus store, free games (ie Spiderman far from home) even though on the home screen it says a message " your graphics card does not meet min. specs" . I did have an issue with launching steam VR games, but after installing Steam VR. I have had no issues. I was able to play Exorcist-Chapter 1 no issues. So for me this is acceptable, because i will not be playing real intense games like FPS. I hope this helps.
