Pretty sure it’s just an unwarranted error message. It still plays in and displays in settings that it’s in 1440p, my guess is it has an issue with the ultra wide, but still displays properly.

If you are able to get 1440p when connected to a laptop or PC this would indicate that the monitor is functioning. You might also visit the Acer Community where there are many posters that offer advice on Acer products as well. If the monitor will not display 1440p from other source devices, please feel free to contact Acer support at 866-695-2237. They are available 24/7 for in-warranty products.
