The Acer OFFICIAL stance is that there are two NVMe connections, capable of using a maximum 1TB SSD in each, for 2TB total. However, note that companies have to be conservative when stating specs, since legally they are responsible for this (Google "mcdonald's hot coffee lawsuit" for a comparison). Real-world experience of some users may far exceed this, though no ONE person is guaranteed of higher specs. I suggest you search various bulletin boards and SSD manufacturers for other possibilities.

Theoretically a larger SSD should work but Acer is unable to guarantee an 8TB will work. You might post your question on the Acer community forum at community.acer.com.
