“When I connect monitor with HDMI cable at 75hz the picture is washed out, blacks are grey. I reconnected using DVI at 60hz and colors are beautiful. Is this Monitor not made to use HDMI connection?”

• Sounds like you have a bad cable or the quality of your cable is giving you all the quagmires. Try a different cable I have both of mine hooked up with HDMI and no problems using the cheap Best Buy cable that is nothing but quality getting ready to add two more monitors so I have quads

• Same problem. Running it on DVI at 60 and it performs flawlessly at over 70 FPS.
