QuestionDoes this work on above ground steel framed vinyl pools? The pools where the bottom bulges out with the force of the water? The walls aren't perfectly straight up and down.

- Answer Yes this works great on above ground pools. I have used it on my 18 x 48 pool and mine has a wrinkle here and there it goes over them with ease. It picks up everything from leaves to pool toys.

The slope angle can be calculated by calculating the ratio between the height difference of the pool and the horizontal distance. - Answer I have had a bit of algae grow this year and this little vacuum does a great job of cleaning up everything. I think if you adjust your pH levels and use the right chemicals along with the vacuum, your pool will just stay sparkling.
