Many times, it seems as if companies will change prices on the different colours, depending on what is selling better. Solid black not selling as well, mark the price down. It is just a guess, as I have no first hand knowledge of pricing practices and strategies, but having worked retail for the past 12 years, it is just the trends I see.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Could be supply and demand, where the company has an overstock of the red and not enough people are purchasing that color. Or, a competitor to Best Buy has an overstock on the red and wants to sell some inventory, so Best Buy dropped pricing on that color to not lose business to the competitor.
