• If you're playing in a party of people and you're not friends with one of them then their privacy settings could be blocking your voice. Your own privacy settings might be blocking yourself too. But yeah also double check your sound settings when you join - they have redesigned the XBOX interface so many times over the years its hard to tell people exactly where to go for adjustment but it is in 'settings' and audio where you can check if you're muting yourself.
