• Yes, there is an usb-a port where you can attach your mouse. To change the colors, you will need to install the Alienware Command Center from Dell page, this app will allow you to update your keyboard and customize the colors. Regards

• I’m not sure on the mouse part. I haven’t tried it but I know for a fact you can change the lighting. You just have to go into Aliens command center and choose settings on your keyboard.

• you can’t plug a mouse into the keyboard itself, but it is compatible with almost all mice on the market. you can change the lights in the Alienware Control Center application if you download it.
