There are the standard mouse buttons on the top of the mouse (left click, right click, scroll wheel, scroll wheel click, also a left/right toggle button/switch just below the scroll wheel). The left side has side panels with either 2 or 6 buttons that can are hot swappable.

And, they attach with magnets, so they are easy to switch out. One has 2 buttons and the other has 6, depending on what you need it for. It also has weights that can be installed or left out. I really like this mouse.
