“Just purchased the M16 with the 4070 GPU. I connected an Alienware 34” oled to the laptop via a usb c to display port cable. I can’t seem to get the monitor to run off the GPU and not the integrated unit. What port do I need to be using? Ex Mac user.”

Try a different type-c cable rated for 100w. 240w to be sure. Signal needs power! Also rated for pd (Power Delivery) charging. Should be able to charge laptop too with 100w power adapter not included. Anker sells one.

Hi, I would use the Hdmi port or the thunderbolt port for display. Buy a hdmi 2.1 cable if the display exceeds 4k. If not, a regular hdmi will work fine if under 4k resolution.
