Q: QuestionI recently bought this laptop, I tried to install a Kingston fury ddr5 4800mhz 16 GB in replacement of one of the already installed 8GB stick, bur the computer does not boot up. It Just blinks red and turns off. Is there something I am doing wrong? Help!

• A:Answer Well, I would believe that it could be that the previously installed ram is of a lower frequency and is not able to reach the same frequency as the new one, I suggest that you try to get a second Kingston Fury RAM because being in Dual Chanel it should not happen to you but try to compare the frequency of the new ram with the previous one using the Byos

• A:Answer There is no specific brand or model. I installed Corsair's 32GB DDR5-5600 kit and am very happy with it. The thing is, due to CPU/Chipset limitations, memory will only run at DDR5-4800 speeds. This is not changeable in the BIOS or through any other means on this m16 model.
