You can use these on the Xbox with inline cable commented to controller.. Now u can not use any of the functions on the headset other then the mute button.

Yes via the 3.5 mm jack. These are meant for PC in combination with the app. The app provides the best sound. Using them with the 3.5mm jack alone will not achieve the best sound quality.
