It does mount in dash. Depending on the vehicle you need a dash kit. Additionally, you need specific cables (extra) for which steering wheel controls you have and/or back up camera.

Please try again later.You have to get a double din dash kit that works with your vehicle, to keep the steering controls you'd have to get a separate harness thats made specifically for that purpose. As long as you spend a little extra and get all the right harnesses for you vehicle everything should work fine. I installed this radio in my 08 GT, it was a very easy install if you've installed a radio before.
