No it uses the usb they give you that you connect to the back of the radio.

Yes it is! I have an iPhone and I can play my music wireless, but if you connect your phone it will mirror your phone and you can control your phone with the radio. It also has better sound if you plug it in.

Not all radios have wireless car play, but you can get ones with wireless
