“I have an alpine iLX-207, I just got a new amp... 2500 the radio cuts off when the bass is all the way up. Is this because the amp is too big for the radio? I used to have a 1500, never ran into this problem. (Planet audio amp)”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure all your positives are correct and your nogatives are correct and tight. It may draw to much amps when it hits hard. You could try a bass capacitor, you may need a higher amp output altinator. The easiest way to know if it's drawing to many amps is if at night your headlights dim when the bass hits . Hope this help
