“I want to connect my Beats wireless headphones to my Sony stereo receiver STR-DH190 so I can listen to my CDs and Turntable output thru my headphones. Will this device allow that to happen?”

That is basically how I am using mine via a tv in place of the receiver and Jabra bluetooth headphones instead of beats. You will need the correct adapter to plug the 3.5mm jack on the transceiver into your receiver with the transceiver set to transmit and pair it and your headphones. Volume will be controlled both with the receiver and your headphones. The good news is once you have the transceiver paired you can plug it into other headphone jacks on other non bluetooth devices and use your bluetooth headphones instead of wired
