Mobile phones can only connect to Bluetooth devices when the BT device is in Receive mode (RX). This is fairly standard with most Bluetooth devices, not just those from Aluratek. Phones can receive audio for their cellular service, but that is a different protocol and mainly for conversation while on a call. In order to do this you would need a hard-wired connection directly into your phone. Your phone would have to be outfitted with a 3rd party audio interface and software downloaded to the phone (such as Cubasis, etc.) that can record in higher quality (16-bit, 44.1kz or higher). https://www.midilifestyle.com/daws/music-making-apps-android-ios/ https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/audio-interfaces/ci/22903
