“It works and the the next day it doesn’t. Phone says device not supported. I can forget device in Bluetooth and repair and it’ll work for one day and repeat same issue. iPhone 12 IOS 18.3.2”

Take the unit back immediately. These are not compatible with many many vehicles. Some car menufacturers built their stereos in such a way that they can only get Apple carplay with a USB connection and not wirelessly...even if it did work for a day or a few hours.
