Run the range at 400* for an hour to burn off any chemical residues and smell
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi BreJ, some of the chemicals that have triggered the Prop 65 warning, may have been used during the manufacturing process. The amounts are trace and not known to be unsafe to humans in these amounts. However, we are required to put a warning on all of our appliances. Proposition 65 requires warning labels on any product that may contain or product any of 600-plus elements that the California Air Resources Board considers a carcinogen or reproductive toxicant. Information about Proposition 65 is available on the official California website https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65. We hope this helps.
