Q: QuestionHello, Which smart plug should I use with the 4th generation echo? And, is that all I would need to turn items on and listen to music? What internet speed is required to use these items? I am new to this technology. Thanks, Marcia

• A:Answer I say the Alexa smart plugs because they pair instantly to your Alexa system and connect themselves accordingly. Now once it comes to the music side I have 5 of these and they are great you can connect them and they all sync and play your music in different rooms of the house. And speed should work but the more speed you have the faster they work.

• A:Answer Hello, Andres0819! There may be some Alexa features that are not compatible outside of the US, but as long as you are attached to WiFi, you would be able to use the device. • A:Answer The mini Jack on the back is software selectable to be either an input or output. So if set to input you could use it as an external speaker for your tv. Your TV needs the necessary audio output for cable connection. Generally an RCA TO MINI plug adapter is all you need. The left and right then adapt to the mini plug adapter.

• A:Answer Hello, Yes. You need a Fire TV Stick of some sort, Wifi an OTA Digital Antenna and the Recast in order to make it all work. Then you would put a Fire TV Stick in other TVs in the same household and you would be able to access what the recast is recording, as well as the live content that is coming from that OTA Antenna. • A:Answer Hello, That depends. With just the dot, no, but with another compatible device, possibly. If you have a recent Smart TV that has Alexa built in, you could control your TV, but Cable Boxes are a whole other category, and act on their own. You could get a 3rd party device such a smart remote system that takes all of your remotes and puts it into one device, and then you can control that device with the Echo. Hope that helps.

Q: QuestionWill I be able to ask Alexa to play / stream my favorite radio stations like I can do so with my Fire TV device currently. That is say, 'tune to WMVP' and it will stream this station or any free radio stations that stream on the internet.

• A:Answer Hi, thank you for your question. The echo can be programmed to control smart lights through the Alexa app. Download the Alexa app to setup your echo device and setup your smart lights. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t have a direct way to track stolen Echos, but deregistering it ensures the thief can’t use it under your account. How to deregister your account; 1.) Open the Amazon Alexa app 2.) Go to Devices > Select your Echo (4th Gen) 3.) Scroll down until you see “Registered To: xxxx” Then tap “Deregister” This will ensure they won’t get any personal information out of your alexa, and use your account to get your data
