“I would like to change the sound the Echo Dot makes when the alarm goes off, not reduce or increase the sound. (A different sound) How could I do that?”

1. open Alexa app 2. go to tip left corner and click on list icon 3.click on settings 4. click on Amazon item name for example Kitchen or 1st Dot what ever name of item is. 5 scholl down to sounds.6. click on Alarm 6. select different sound that you may like 7 .Back out of program or just close the app

Once you download the app, sign in to the same Amazon account you have set up with the echo dot. Then, in "settings" within the Alexa app, you should be able to change the tone for your alarms.

Please try again later.You will have to go to setting in your Amazon alexa app on your phone and then choose your device and go to sounds which will be located under general. With the sounds menu you can see alarm which is where you can choose different alarm tone. Hope this helps.
