The Wink 2 Hub works great with it...

Lifx bulbs work without the hub.
If you use a hub you have to go with what the hub maker recommends.

Since you already have the dot and Alexa setup, just ask her what surveillance systems she supports.

In order to get hue to work you will need the bridge which you already know, but I am not sure what you are referring to when you say Surveillance
