Can they be used in a garage with the heat and cold? null

We have four dots in different parts of the house. I actually have one set up in world's smallest, coldest, dampest bathroom on Earth. When someone wants to shower in there, the heater goes on, so then it's hot/damp/etc. all at the same time, and it still works just fine. So I don't see any problem putting one in a garage. (Haven't tried it, but hey, I hope this helps.)

Yes, since they don’t run off batteries there isn’t an issue with power failures
