• yes two echo dots can "paired" to get stereo sound. Not sure how big your great room is, but you can add extra dots to a speaker group i Alexa and have them all synchronized to play the same sound. They don't even have to be in the same room. You won't get stereo sound ( left and right channels) but mono sounds better for small speakers anyway.
