• Hello. You need wifi (an internet connection) to make the Echo work. Doesn't matter who's wifi you are using. No internet connection = no working Echo.

• As long as she has any source of Wifi , she can use it

• Use the "aux" plug-in and and plug in a MP3 player with pre-recorded music. You do not need a wifi for this mode.
