Yes through the Alexa app

You should be able to access it from there, but he would have to feel okay giving you his Alexa Logon Info.

You’d need to go to his house to pair it to the app but that’s it. You can customize the app in many ways and make a spot (like when adding rooms) for any devices in his home registered to you. You can also do Drop-In, where you can drop in (think intercom) to his Echo Dot from your app or any of your Alexa Devices and he can Drop-In to you from his device once you’ve named the devices in the app (My Dot, Toms Dot, My Firestick, Bathroom Dot, etc). So say for example if he’s elderly, you can tell any of your Alexa devices (we’ll name your brother Tom) by saying “Alexa Drop-In Toms Dot” and she’ll say “Ok” or confirm which device then you’ll hear this weird sound which is it connecting and when it stops you’ll hear another brief sound then if his house is quiet you won’t hear anything or if someone’s talking or the TVs on you may hear it, if his Dots volume is loud enough for him to hear you’d just start talking. “Tom it’s Dotty” or however you want to talk it’s just like a phone call :) Then when y’all are done one of you say “Alexa Stop” and she’ll end the Drop-In. Hopefully this helps!
