There could be multiple reasons. Perhaps the most common one is that you recently purchased a product that came with the device 'free of charge' but the store lacked it stock and had to ship it out from another location, distribution center, etc. For more information, call Best Buy directly with the invoice at 1 (888) 237-8289. Enjoy the new device however :)
