Yes, I have an iPhone 11 with Alexa app, works real good with Drop In.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Suzi13! Yes you can use this device with both Zoom and with people who only have a smartphone. You can communicate through the Communicate tab when you swipe down on the screen. Smartphone users would have to have the Alexa app downloaded and set up on their smartphone, however because they use the app to communicate via both audio and video. Zoom is available to be set up as a Skill (what we call apps for Alexa) simply by saying "Alexa open Zoom". Once you have it enabled, you will follow the instructions to link your account then you can use it for Zoom calls as well. I hope this helps answers your question and that you have a phenomenal day!
