Ask Alexa to turn the alarm off. Go to Alexa App and click on the 3 horizontal bars besides the home and light symbol. Then click on the Alarms and Timers. The rest is easy. Be sure to look for the word "Save" at the top right after you update this section. It is hard to see sometimes.

Here's how: Voice Command (Easiest Method) Simply say: "Alexa, stop" or "Alexa, dismiss alarm". This works reliably as long as the device is connected to Wi-Fi and Alexa is responsive. Touchscreen Tap (No Voice Needed) On the Echo Spot's display, two small buttons will appear when the alarm goes off: Tap the dismiss or turn off button (it's labeled on-screen, typically next to the snooze option). Tip: If you're groggy, practice with a test alarm first—the buttons are small and fingerprint-sized, so it's easy to accidentally tap "snooze" instead. Physical Button (Alternative for Offline or Unresponsive Scenarios) If voice or touch isn't working (e.g., no Wi-Fi), press and hold the action button on the top of the device until the alarm stops. This may require holding it for a few seconds in some cases. As a last resort, unplug the device to power it off entirely, but reconnect it afterward to resume normal use. These methods are based on the device's standard alarm behavior. If alarms keep going off unexpectedly, check the Alexa app on your phone to delete or edit them under Devices > Echo Spot > Alarms. Hope you have a great day!
