You must use the app to setup Alexa. Once setup tell Alexa to connect to my phone.

Please try again later.Hello and thank you for your inquiry regarding using the Echo Studio as a speaker for your iPhone without using the Alex app. The Studio, like other devices in our Echo (non-screened) lineup, needs to have an initial setup as well as settings that you would need to access through the Alexa app or your Amazon account on a web browser in order to be used as a Bluetooth speaker for your iPhone.
