Yes you can download them apps. It connects with my home wifi so I'm sure it would connect to your vehicle also

All of those apps are currently available for download via the Apps & Games icon on the kids profile or through the Appstore on an adult's or parent's profile and then able to be allowed access from the Parent Dashboard website or from the Amazon Kids app on the tablet itself. The device does also come with the capability of adding it to external speakers through Bluetooth as well located in the settings of the device.
