Yes my daughter is 3 and she works it better then me and they have the kids edition you can download so everything they see is for 7yrs and younger and passwords for certain apps that need payment so that they cant buy every game they see lol

You can convert this tablet to a kids edition version in settings. However, purchasing the Fire 7 Kids edition tablet comes with a case in the box as well as curated age appropriate content ready for any child to learn! Hope that helps!
