A:AnswerYes it will be able to function just as a kindle would. What’s good is that you can reduce the blue light so that you don’t strain your eyes while reading from it.
A:AnswerNot really ...the apps are extremely basic and doesn’t hold much. More for reading like Kindle lovers or a quick reference. I suppose you could attach a keyboard but I’m really not positive that this is the kind of thing that would work for that. However it does go online so depends what you’d use it for.
A:AnswerIt allows both but the instructions for doing this are confusing. You gave to first connect your Fire to your PC and check to see that your PC recognizes it. Then you click "Settings" on your Fire and then click of "Connected devices." Then tap on "USB" ans tap on "transfer files."
I use my Amazon Fire 7 with a 64 GB micro SD card to put YouTube movies and recorded lectures of Yale's free online courses on my Amazon Fire 7 for free distribution to the incarcerated.
Unfortunately, most facilities will not permit inmates to use any device with either WiFi capability or a camera.
Do you know of any device similar to the Amazon Fire 7 (or 10) that does not have these capabilities?
If so, could you please let me know.

A:AnswerI paid $39.95 at Best Buy but then they raised the price to $49.95. I think they are in demand due to the stay-a-thome problems with the corona virus and the price should go down after that.

A:AnswerI was very annoyed that Fire is not compatible with Apple products nor is it very user friendly for most Google products. I personally believe that anyone who has ever used a Apple product will be very unhappy with all Fire's.
