A:AnswerHi Drew,
This is a great question. You can adjust the screen timeout options by following these steps:
Select Display or Display & Sounds from the Settings menu.
Then select Display Sleep.
Select how many seconds or minutes your screen stays on when not in use.
There is an option for never. However, when extending the timeout it will affect battery life!
Have a great day!
A:AnswerHi there
This tablet does not have cellular capability built in. However, if your cell phone has a mobile hot spot you can most certainly use that to provide internet to it!
Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello, the new Fire 7 has double the storage of previous models and up to 7 hours of battery life for playing games, listening to music or watching movies. There are tons of games available for download in the Amazon App Store, it just depends on what you like to play!
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerI'm not sure but I don't think so. The Amazon Fire 7 is an incredible bargain at $39.95 and I put 40 movies and 7 video lectures on a 64 GB micros SD card that cost about $5 and that's all I use it for. I'm designing a project to provide college lectures for free distribution to the incarcerated and the Amazon Fire 7 would be great for that except that it comes with WiFi and a camera, which most facilities prohibit.
If you are familiar with such devices do you know of any cheap tablet that's the equivalent of the Amazon Fire 7 and which DOES NOT have WiFi or a camera attached to them? If I could find one it would be great help to a great number of people.

A:AnswerDid you mean "Google?" My Amazon Fire 7 would let me connect to Google if only I knew how the WiFi works. So I assume it does.
I use my Amazon Fire 7 with a 64 GB micro SD card to put YouTube movies and recorded lectures of Yale's free online courses on my Amazon Fire 7 for free distribution to the incarcerated.
Unfortunately, most facilities will not permit inmates to use any device with either WiFi capability or a camera.
Do you know of any device similar to the Amazon Fire 7 (or 10) that does not have these capabilities?
If so, could you please let me know.

A:AnswerYes they seem to be. I have had my Fire for a long time and just recently bought two more for the grand kids since being quarantined. They are a bit slippery all on their own, would always recommend keeping it in some sort of a case.
A:AnswerYes, but they don't have all of the same android apps you could get on your phone. There's quite a few things I've looked for that they don't offer
